Project Background
Spain is the top rabbit meat producer in the European Union, with large-scale domestic farms generally facing two major challenges: EU animal welfare regulations restrict traditional simple cages, and the cost of manual cleaning and feeding continues to rise annually. Local outdated cages corrode quickly, have low stocking density, and exhibit subpar efficiency compared to industry averages. There is a need for a fully compliant, EU-welfare-compliant tiered breeding and fattening rabbit cage system.
Customized Solution Adaptation
Compliance Adaptation: Utilize EU-certified, widened enrichment-type rabbit cages to expand activity space, equipped with hiding nests and stepping platforms, meeting local animal welfare regulations in Spain to mitigate policy risks;
Fully Automated Equipment: The entire factory is equipped with automatic hoist feeding, conveyor belt manure removal, and circulating water supply systems. Only one administrator is needed per rabbit hut, reducing labor costs. The mother-and-litter cage design integrates breeding and fattening areas, improving breeding survival rates.
